Pet Friendly Real Estate Services

Finding the purrrfect pad for you (and your pets)

"A house is not a home without a dog."

Truer words have never been spoken. At least not in my house. My four legged companions are a constant thought in my mind from breakfast and early morning walks to vacations ...and of course, moving.

I consider my pets to be an integral part of the family. However, just like cluttered surfaces and piles of childrens toys, signs of our precious furry friends, like the inevitable doggy or litterbox odors that accompany them, are as obvious as and uninviting as cigarette smoke to the non-smoker. Having a REALTOR that understands the trials and tribulations that any pet owner goes through whether buying or selling a home is an undeniable benefit.

Being a "Pet Friendly" REALTOR is not just a clever marketing tactic- it is my PASSION.

I have also enjoyed a successful career as a Dog Trainer. Training in both group settings for general obedience as well as providing private in-home behavioral consultations.

A peculiar combination some would say, but I never felt truly whole separating sections of who I was.

NOW I adapt my Real Estate services to spotlight on dog owners. Specializing in Condo's, Townhouses, and Family homes. I have always known that dogs owners have unique Real Estate needs. I focus on marketing my clients homes in their most pawsitive light.

I, myself, live in a Dog Friendly neighborhood in lovely Langley City.

Pet Friendly BUYERS:

I believe that pet owners have specialized real estate needs when it comes to making that all important purchase. I include every member of the family - even the four footed and furry ones.

  • *Pet Restrictions*? (if you are interested in buying a stata: condo or townhome)
  •  Need a fenced yard?
  • Preference of hardwood? carpeting?
  • Dog parks, trails or walking areas nearby?
  • General neighborhood?
RENTING?
As if renting doesn't have enough potential complications just try bringing a dog home. BUT not all homes you own are dog friendly either. Many condo and townhouse stratas do not openly advertise their pet policies and restrictions. I do my research to ensure that the home you fall in love with is canine compatible.

For Pet Friendly SELLERS the issues are even greater.

Have you ever heard stories of the "indoor" cat getting out during an open house? or the dog scaring away potential buyers? Will the presence of pets lower the value of your home? It can if you're not careful. In a tough market like this, things like pet odors or litter boxes and dog food in plain sight may affect the sale of your home.

I will take the time to make sure that you are fully prepared and that both you and your pets feel safe and comfortable during the sale. I have some tips and advice to allow you to get the best possible price for your home.
